Description

  • Height: 19 3/16 inches, 48.7 cm
of ovoid form, painted with formal red lotus flower heads borne on an undulating foliate vine with leaves picked out in underglaze blue, all between key-fret borders around the rim and foot

Condition

There are four frits/shallow chips to the rim. Overall there is some fine speckling to the glaze. There is a stained star-shaped crack extending across the base and 1 in. (2.5 cm) up into the side of the vase.
