each painted with figural scenes depicting dignitaries and a lady seated within balustrade pavilions, receiving tribute amongst military officials and attendants holding banners, between stylized borders and below bamboo sprays at the neck, the cover encircled by boys playing within a fenced garden, surmounted by a bud knop, six-character apocryphal Chenghua marks within double circles (4)

Condition

Covers - one has a 1/4 inch (.6cm) rim chip. Also a patch of brownish discoloration near the rim and a 1 1/4 inch (3.2cm) patch of kiln grit on the top. The other has a 1 inch (2.4cm) chip under the rim and two smaller rim chips. Jars - one has a small rim chip and a chip under the foot. The other has a minor firing crack across the foot adn some scattered burst air bubbles in the glaze.
