Description

outlined and painted with variously-toned blue washes, with a scene of wild geese descending on a shoreline punctuated with reeds, one goose with its head submerged looking for food, apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark in underglaze blue within a double circle, box and stand (3)

Condition

There is a hairline crack from the rim approx. 1 in. (2.5 cm) long, and a few minute scattered burst bubbles on the rim and footrim. The interior with two minor kiln adhesions and a glazed over tear.
