Description

of transparent ruby-red, sapphire-blue, emerald-green, golden-yellow and slightly streaky, milky glass, all with scattered air bubbles of various sizes, with a flat lip and recessed, convex, irregularly oval foot surrounded by a footrim made up of elements of the design, carved as a single overlay with a continuous design of seven chilong, one forming a naturalistic footrim; the tourmaline stopper with a gold collar with integral gold ‘cork’ and spoon

Condition

There are some minor nibbles to the inner lip; otherwise the snuff bottle is in overall good condition.
