Condition
STRUCTURE
Original canvas. Some very faint craquelure to some of the thicker areas of white pigment in the figure, only visible upon close inspection and further craquelure emerging to the background of the lower half. Some superficial spots of staining to the lower right, however, in generally good order with rich passages of impasto.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
No signs of retouching.

The present work, together with lots 87 and 89, relate to le Brocquy's white 'presences' series from circa 1956-66, conveying his feelings on the individual's inner reality and of his isolation.
