Condition
Original canvas, small undulations in the upper corners. There is a faint craquelure pattern through the picture, although located predominantly in the sky. The surface has discoloured and should benefit from cleaning.
Ultraviolet light reveals an opaque varnish but there appear to be no signs of retouching.
Held in the original gilt plaster frame.
