Half-title, etched frontispiece, title-vignette, plates and text illustrations by Edgar Chahine. Citron three-quarter morocco, printed wrappers bound in, in a morocco-trimmed slipcase, by Albinhac. No. 70 of 170 copies on grand vélin d'arches. — Aumale, Henri Eugene Philippe Louis d'Orleans, duc d'. Les Zouaves et Les Chasseurs à Pied. Illustrations de Charles Morel gravées sur bois par Cl. Bellenger, Léveillé, Noel, Paillard. Paris: [Lahure for] La Société des Amis des Livres, [1896]. 8vo, half-title, frontispiece, vignette on title, text illustrations, 4-page list of members of the Société at end. Dark green, interlace frame composed of quintuple gilt-rules, spine gilt, brown silk doublures and endleaves, edges gilt, in a morocco-trimmed slipcase, by Mercier “successeur de Cuzin,” original wrappers bound in. Lahure, 1900 for] Société de Propagation des Livres d'Art, 1901. 8vo (11 1/8 x 7 3/8 in.; 282 x 186 mm). Half-title, etched plates, woodcut text illustrations, plus an extra suite of ten etched plates with it's own wrappers, by Auguste Lepere. Brown morocco, gilt-ruled interlaced frame, spine gilt, green morocco doublures, brown watered-silk endleaves, wrappers bound in, in a morocco-trimmed slipcase, by E. Maylander. No. 94 of 75 copies on chine, with an added suite of the etchings on chine, and an artist's proof. Ray, French, 327.
