8vo (8 x 5 1/2 in.; 203 x 140 mm).  Title-page with large vignette.  Publisher's coarse-grained tan cloth, stamped in orange and blue on the spine and orange on the front cover, top edges stained orange.  Original pictorial dust-jacket by Arthur Hawkins; some small chips and wear at spine ends and upper edge of front cover.
