Full red morocco, central green inlaid morocco quatrefoil with radiating tulip tendrils, gilt cornerpieces, green morocco doublures with central purple medallion extended with semé leaf-like branches and mosaic tulips, dotted and solid fillets, gilt cornerpieces, green moiré guards, the spines in 6 compartments gilt, edges gilt; front board to vol. 1 of  Oliver Twist detached, spines slightly age-darkened, some some ends chipped.

Green and Kyd, as well as facsimiles of wrappers of the original parts and engravings on Chine collé by Cruikshank, H.K. Browne, R. A. Doyle, D. Maclise, J. Tenniel, E. Landseer and others.
