3 volumes bound in two, 4to (9 1/4 x 7 1/2 in.; 240 x 190 mm); publisher's device designed by Beardsley, 2 etched frontispieces, 18 plates including 5 double-page, 3 headpieces, 22 borders, numerous initials printed in black ink, numerous vignettes and infill ornaments, colophon; complete with the 12 front wrappers for each part, bound at the end of the volumes; usual offsetting from plates, borders, and occasionally vignettes, occasional tears; Contemporary purple half-morocco, gilt and blind tooled on the back. Good condition.
