Vanderbanck after Sylvester Brounower; crease in portrait with 2-inch tear along crease at bottom, portrait and title soiled as are a few other leaves, 2 pages with pencil notes, textual emendation added in manuscript on slip pasted on bottom margin of page 187. Contemporary calf blind-tooled in a panel design; rebacked at an early date, upper cover detached, corners worn, scuffed.
