Description

  • Arabic manuscript on gold sprinkled paper
calligraphic exercise on the letters of the alphabet, in concertina form comprising 4 panels, Arabic manuscript on gold sprinkled paper, written in 2 lines of black naskh script in black ink and 2 lines of larger thuluth script above and below, ruled in gold, black and red stripes with an outer gold sprinkled green border, with illuminated and polychrome rosettes flanking the text on both sides, signed Zuhdi on the last panel

Condition

In good overall condition, calligraphy bold and illumination bright, very minor wear to the outer edges with water marks and very minor smudging, each panel attached to each other on the reverse with leather strips, as viewed.
