Arabic manuscript on paper, 28 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 7 lines to the page, written in bold muhaqqaq script in black ink, verses separated by segmented blue-bordered gold roundels, surah headings in gold in thuluth script within polychrome foliate panels, margins ruled in colours and gold, 'Allah' written in gold throughout, illuminated marginal devices, opening double page illuminated frontispiece with text in alternating black and gold script within cloud bands, contemporary binding with gilt-stamped covers densely decorated with foliage and chinoiserie cloud bands, with flap

In generally good overall condition, binding and spine worn with some repair, thumbed, some smudges and marginal paper repairs, illumination bright, as viewed.
