Arabic manuscripts on paper, 33 to 35 leaves, from the same set, 7 lines to the page, written in muhaqqaq script in black ink, verses separated by segmented gold roundels pointed in blue and red, opening illuminated headpiece with scrolling foliate decoration in colours and gold, written in thuluth script, contemporary morocco binding with central medallion with knotted motifs, with flap
Condition
In fairly good condition, calligraphy bold, illumination somewhat bright, traces of thumbing, repair to the pages, mostly along the bottom edges, some foxing and stains, some worming to the paper and four of the bindings, wear and scratches to binding, repair to binding and flap, as viewed.
