Arabic manuscript on paper, 310 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 13 lines to the page, written in neat naskh script in bold black ink, verses separated by gold and polychrome florets, opening illuminated double page frontispiece in colours and gold with pin-pricked rococo motifs, various marginal illuminations throughout amid wide outer margins ruled in gold, surah headings in white within gold panels, illuminated colophon, leather binding with gold rococo motifs and ropework borders, one board upside down, with flap
Condition
In generally very good overall condition, binding with some abrasions, particularly to spine, pages clean, calligraphy bold and illumination bright, opening folios coming loose from spine, as viewed.
