Condition
Illustrated example in catalogue: approximately 126 by 90cm; 4ft. 1in., 2ft. 11in.,
Comprised of two joined panels. Not lined. Some oxidisation to the taupe embroidery. Two holes to ground, one top left quadrant towards left edge just above second small red flowerhead, and the other in the centre of the panel above the large red flowerhead, second up from the bottom. Ground is a white colour rather than a cream.
Two other square panels, each of similar design with central star motifs enclosing flowerheads, within two lobed motifs, surrounded by flowerheads:
One panel (illustrated on-line) approximately 121 by 121cm; 3ft. 11in., 3ft 11in. Comprised of three joined panels. Not lined. Taupe embroidery details oxidised, for example the stems and leaves. There are some small holes (top of central panel), some small patches, repairs, and some stains to the ground. Small dark marks on motifs, lower left corner and small blue stain in centre.
Other similar panel, of similar design, with curved stems incorporated in the outside design (illustrated on-line) approximately 135 by 123cm; 4ft. 5in., 4ft. Comprised of three joined panels. Not lined. Faded colours overall. Some stains to ground centre of top edge and two small burn marks top right corner of the central panel.
