Condition
Flexible handle. General 3-4mm pile. Some oxidisation in browns to foundation in areas. The the areas of brown pile there is some repiling in a different coloured brown, for example lower left corner and to some of motifs across the centre, visible in the photograph. Across the width at the top there is some wear down to foundation, to some of rose motifs, and in the check strip, where browns have oxidised. Minor wear in blue and brown outer border top left corner. Original side cords. Vestiges of fringe to top end. Irregular height to lower end (approx. 309cm. left side, 302cm. right side). No fringing lower edge, no overlocking and therefore some resulting losses to end guards. There is no soumak green for example. Small repiled patch, approx. 17cm. high, by 12.5cm. wide, located lower left corner along lower edge.
