composed of two pieces of linen joined side by side, embroidered in darning stitch with red, blue, green, yellow and black silk threads, decorated with a lattice of palmettes enclosing foliate details between split leaves, the border with a similar palmette and leaf design

Condition
In generally good condition, please note that this lot was originally a quilt and has probably been reduced in size, some small tears with associated consolidation and few small patches with loose threads, some staining, mounted on wooden stretcher, as viewed.
