Description

  • 34.5 x 25.5cm.
gouache heightened with gold on paper, 4 lines of text above and below the text in 4 columns written in elegant black nasta'liq script within cloud bands against a gold ground, ruled in colours and gold, outer margins filled with large leafy flowers in feint gold, reverse with 25 lines of text and an illuminated heading in white against a polychrome ground

Condition

In good overall condition, colours bright, minor split to inner margin at middle right of painting, light creasing, basic paper repair to right hand leaf edge, reverse with small repairs and minor stains, as viewed.
