Arabic manuscript on polished paper, laid down in an album, 12 leaves, a total of 18 panels of calligraphy, each 4 lines to the page, written in large and small muhaqqaq script in black ink, letter changes marked by gold florets, ruled in gold, panels of rococo and foliate illumination throughout, varied colours of ebru outer margins, red doublures flecked with gold, outer binding with gilt-stamped medallions filled with scrolling vines and chinoiserie cloud bands
