Arabic manuscript on paper, 15 lines to the page, written in neat naskh script in black ink, verses separated by small gold roundels pointed in blue and red, selected words picked out in gold, catchwords, opening illuminated headpiece in colours and gold with pin-pricked strapwork borders in gold, double page watercolour illustration of Mecca and Medina, followed by a further illuminated headpiece and colophon, brown leather binding with tooled medallions and spandrels filled with punched dots and interlacing split-palmettes, with ropework border

In very good overall condition, a few minor stains and smudges, otherwise clean, ink bold and illumination bright, as viewed.
