Arabic manuscript on polished paper, 40 leaves, 9 lines to the page, written in fine naskh script in black ink, verses separated by gold flowerheads, occasional leafy gold sprays amid the text, folio 1b with illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, opening double page written within cloud bands against a gold ground pin-pricked with cintamani motifs, catchwords, margins ruled in red and gold, illuminated colophon, red morocco binding with trellis pattern in gold and tooled ropework border, with flap  

Condition

In good overall condition, pages clean, ink bold and illumination bright, one or two minor stains, as viewed.
