of rectangular form, decorated with appliqué work composed of silver, bronze and gold coloured threads on an ochre velvet ground with a design centering on a foliate tree emanating from an ornate vase between two columns under a vegetal canopy, the border with scrolling floral vines

Condition

In good condition, the reverse lined with a bordeaux silk and velcro band for hanging, some ware including loose threads revealing cardboard under relief decoration, as viewed.
