Description

  • tinned copper
of deep rounded form with a slightly everted rim, rising from a short thin foot, the body engraved with a design of interlacing split and full palmettes, with a band under the rim comprising scrolling palmette vines, against a nielloed, hatched ground, base of foot with calligraphic stamp 

Condition

In good condition, with a plain interior, the tinning almost entirely lacking, small dents to body consistent with age, as viewed.
