Description

  • tinned copper
the bulbous body curving inwards from a broad base, with waisted neck and everted rim, incised under the rim with a calligraphic band against a hatched ground, the body with a pattern of alternating cartouches and lobed roundels containing symmetrical entwining vegetal and floral motifs

Condition

In good condition, some rubbing with resulting areas of discoloration to surface, light scratches consistent with age, some erosion visible to interior, as viewed.
