rising from a thin flat base with flaring cavetto and straightened vertical border with an inner-facing flat rim, painted in shades of cobalt blue and black under a transparent glaze, featuring a water-weed medallion in the centre with four floral cones and foliate vines in between, surrounded by a calligraphic band, the flat rim painted blue, with another calligraphic band to the exterior and water-weed motifs
Condition
Intact, in good condition, some light craquelure to glaze, traces of iridescence to interior and exterior, minor chip to interior of rim, as viewed.
