of truncated conical form with flaring walls stepped down to a straight vertical foot, painted in a golden lustre, the interior filled with roundels each containing a seated figure with foliate scrolls in the background, the exterior with a calligraphic band under the rim and stylised foliate motifs, the base painted in dark red with a dense vegetal design and a series of vertical lines along the wall of the foot

Condition

In good condition, intact, some hairline cracks, scratches and rubbing to surface resulting in discoloration of glaze consistent with age, few very minor chips to rim, as viewed.
