Description
- bronze and silver inlay
of shallow circular form with a central raised boss with a six-sided finial, the silver-inlay decoration featuring a frieze of riders on horseback with incised details, the boss with a row of animals in pursuit, the thin flat rim with repeating silver roundels
Condition
In general good condition, parts of silver-inlay missing, particularly to one side of flat rim, surface with erosion particularly to underside, as consistent with age, one of six protruding elements on finial broken, as viewed.
