Catalogue Note

This beautiful qubur consists of a rikhdan, a compartment for pens and other calligraphic implements as well as an inkwell. The base of the inkwell features a sahh mark as well as the tughra of Sultan Murad V who only ruled for ninety-three days, from 30 May 1876 to 31 August 1876 AD (1293 AH), marking this as a truly rare object.
