Description

  • 19cm., 7½in.diameter
one moulded in relief with a cowherd, two cows and a dog, the other moulded with a dairymaid and two cows, coloured in blue, brown, ochre and green inside integral moulded frames, the latter plaque inscribed on the reverse,  'William Roades, E. M., September 29th, 1801'

Condition

The inscribed example, there are two chips to the reverse on the rim edge, the larger measures approximately 2.8cm wide. The other example is in good condition.
