each seated on a chest holding a jug and a beaker, wearing blue jackets and striped blue breeches ,some restoration

Condition

The toby jug in the left of the illustration: There are two chips to the rim of the figures hat. A chip to the base under his left foot has broken off and been re-stuck with an associated hairline crack running under the base. The toby jug in the right of the illustration: The figure's right arm has been replaced, with an area of over-painting which extends just beneath the shoulder. Approximately half of the figure's hat has been overpainted and it is difficult to determine the true extent of the damage underneath.
