each inscribed with a numbered verse within a wreath:

(2) / Let him do / What he Can / (1752)
(3) / To entertain / His Guests / (1752)
(4) / With Wine & / Merry Jests / (1752)
(5) / But if his / Wife do Frown / (1752)

Condition

1. There are four shallow chips to the rim, the largest measures approximately 1.3cm wide. 2. In good condition. 3. In good condition, with some small typical glaze chips to the rim only. 4. There are two shallow glaze chips to the rim, the largest measures 0.8cm wide. 5. There are four shallow chips to the rim, the largest measures 0.7cm wide. 6. There are four small shallow chips on the rim at 3 o'clock.
