- ROSEWOOD BRASS PINE BEECH
- 78cm. high, 91.5cm wide, 45.5cm. deep; 2ft. 6¾in., 3ft., 1ft. 5¾in.
with applied gilt-metal mounts and D-shaped tops on turned columns and platforms raised on four sabre legs
Provenance
Acquired by the present vendor`s father from Mallett & Son, November 1958.
Condition
These are an extremely decorative pair of card tables. Both tables have been re-finished and have quite a shiny finish. Both tops are warped and have age cracks to them. The top to one table has lost part of its brass inlay to the right hand side and the brass is lifting slightly in places. Minor losses and repairs to veneers.
