Description

  • 29.3cm., 11 1/2 in.diameter
painted  with a military commander in armour, possibly General George Monck, first Duke of Albermarle,  seated astride a rearing horse facing to the right, the reverse with a lead glaze

Condition

There are three cracks to the rim of the charger, the largest measures approximately 14cm long. There are some flakes of glaze loss to the rim, visible in the catalogue illustration.
