Description

  • Delftware
  • 34cm., 13 1/4 in.diameter
painted in blue and outlined in manganese with a full length portrait of William III wearing an ermine-lined robe over armour and carrying an orb and sceptre, flanked by the initials WR and green sponged trees inside a manganese double concentric line rim, cracks

Condition

There are four cracks to the rim, the largest located at around 8 o'clock measures approximately 18cm long, the shortest at 11 o'clock measures approximately 5.5cm long.
