Condition
In overall good conserved condition. These are in cherrywood and not walnut. The seats are drop-in. Joints sound and sturdy. Hairline construction cracks at joints commensurate with age which are hardly noticeable. On one arm there is a 5cm long section chipped off to the moulded inner border and the top of the inside of the other arm has also been chipped off. Old minor marks, chips and scratches generally. Ther is a construction crack where the right arm joins the side-rail. Old very minor restorations generally. On the right side the border of one block has been chipped off. The wood is a bit dry looking and would benefit from a repolish according to taste. The other armchair has some minor losses to the back of the splats.
