Description

  • rosewood pine beech mahogany
  • 74.5cm. high, 152cm. diam.; 2ft. 5½in., 5ft.
in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, the circular tilt-top with an egg and dart border on a trefoil plinth with scroll strap work supports, raised on a circular plinth with a carved edge, on concealed castors

Provenance

By repute purchased in the 1851 Exhibition at Crystal Palace

Barford Park, Spaxton near Bridgewater, formerly the property of the late Mr and Mrs Stancomb. The Stancomb family were previously from Blount`s Court, Potterne, near Devizes and moved to Barford Park in 1950s.

 

Condition

This table has been recently re-polished and can be placed without further restoration.
