la boîte polylobée aux bords mouvementés, le couvercle à décor incrusté de jade, nacre, ivoire et stéatite représentant une grue aux ailes déployées parmi les lotus et autres plantes aquatiques ; petit manque (2)
Condition
There is a crack extending from the rim of the base ca. 8cm into the sides and body of the base as well as a second, shorter crack to the rim of the base extending ca. 2.5cm into the sides of the base. A 8.5cm wide section of the rim of the cover is broken off and missing and there is a tiny, ca. 0.2cm wide hole to the rim of the cover. There are some minor losses to the inlays on the cover and some small pieces of inlay appear to have been replaced at a later stage.
