Condition
The painting is in overall good condition. There are several small areas where the paper the painting was painted on shows some loss/thinning which may have occurred at the time it was mounted, the largest measuring 3x2.5cm. There is very light similar loss/thinning to the paper along the upper right hand rim. There is also a ca. 8cm long crease to the paper on the middle left hand side of the painting. Overall the colours and the background are crisper and of a less yellow tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
