Condition

Each leaf is mounted on cardboard and silk, mounted as a leporello album. The front and back inside covers are covered with gold-flecked paper, the album covers are covered with silk over wooden boards. The leaves are in overall good condition, there is some light overall staining to the rims and some corners, and the overall colour of the paper is of a slightly softer, yellow-greyish tone than the catalogue illustrations suggest. There is some damage to the mount around the leaves and the inside cover boards, and some worm damage along the right hand edges of several leaves. Tahoe album is in a Japanese wooden box which is contained in another wooden box.
