Condition

The vase in good overall condition. the carving is crisp using a natural vein running through the stone across one side of the stone and continuing on the other side of the vase (suggesting that the vase was carved from a single piece). There are some small areas of calcification to the body and neck of the vase. The made is of a slightly more celadon tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
