Description

assis en dhyanasana sur une double base lotiforme, les mains en dhyanamudra, son torse nu couvert de bijoux précieux, une mince étoffe entourant ses épaules, ses cheveux relevés en un haut chignon coiffé d'une couronne à cinq pointes ; une des draperies du trône manquante

Acquired in Paris between the 1970s and the early 90s.

Condition

The tip of the usnisa is missing as is one of the ribbons falling over the lotus base is missing (as visible as in catalogue illustratiln). There is a tiny hole to the back of the head, some very light wear to the gilding to the face and the front part of the base in front of the clothes folds but overall the figure is in good condition. The base is unsealed.
