Acquired in China in the late 1940s.
Thence in the family by descent.

Condition

The vase in good overall condition with some calcified areas on one side of the body, a tiny chip to the edge above the foot ; very tiny nicks to the rim and rim of the cover. The actual color is a fraction richer celadon than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
