Condition

The thangka is mounted on board. The colours of the painting are darker, consistent with the age of the painting. There is a ca. 12cm long scratch to the lower left hand part of the painting and a ca. 19cm long vertical scratch to the right hand side to the painting. There are several horizontal creases and splits to the upper part of the painting with associated loss to the silk and pigments. There are scattered areas where the silk is visible as the pigment has disappeared.
