This work is in generally good overall condition. There are few minor retouchings by the upper corners and in tiny scattered areas towards edges.

"Il tratteggio della biro non è affidato da AB ad altre mani in totale libertà: la forma e la struttura più adatte a riempire una grande superficie consistono in un fitto e coprente tratteggio verticale, dall'alto verso il basso, su banda di oscillazione ridotta. Chi si dichiara disposto a svolgere tale lavoro è consapevole di ciò che l'attende. Per settimane e mesi riempie, passo dopo passo (riga per riga) le grandi superfici dei fogli. L'opera richiede la massima concentrazione. (...) Si verifica anche un altro fattore decisivo: l'aspetto del disegno a biro muta giorno per giorno, come in un tracciato sismografico dell'umore. Boetti coinvolge gli esecutori in un rito iniziatico".
