Condition

This work is in good original condition. Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is fixed to the mount at a few points along the upper edge and is floating in the over-mount. A close inspection reveals an artist's pinhole in each corner and a network of hairline shrinkage in the thickest lines of black ink together with some associated lifting, notably at the centre of the flowers and around the contours of the jug.
