Condition
This work is in good condition. The canvas is not lined. A close inspection reveals some very small spots of paint-loss in the green pigment of the upper left corner, to the edge of the pipe and the book in the upper right and to the bottle. There is a varnish which impedes thorough examination but UV light nevertheless reveals a few tiny spots of fluorescence on the book towards the centre of the composition, to the upper left of the bottle and in the white pigment of the goblet.
