Condition
The bronze is sound with an attractive brown patina with golden and green nuances. The patina is overall less red than it appears in the catalogue illustration. A close inspection reveals some minor verdigris to the rocks behind the figures and a very fine scratch to the patina behind the woman's heels. There is a small media mark on the inside of the baby's right thigh and another on the woman's lower right leg. Apart from a light build-up of dust in the recessive areas and some light wear to the most protruding areas, this work is in very good condition.
