Description

  • rock-crystal and gemset (with gold)
the gently curved double-edged watered-steel blade with a rock-crystal hilt of waisted form with carved flutes and ridges to grip, the pommel and forte inlaid with foliate bands of gold and rubies, featuring a flowerhead to top of pommel

Condition

In very good condition, one very small chip to pommel of hilt and two minor chips to its forte, some encrustation around inset decoration, principally set with foil-backed rubies, on custom mount, as viewed.
