Catalogue Note
L’art de chaque époque rassemble toujours des éléments du passé, l’art est une succession et une addition infinie. Personnellement je ne peux pas concevoir une œuvre qui choisisse Matisse comme prétexte sans tenir compte du temps écoulé entre lui et moi, sans effectuer un changement d’échelle et de matière, sans considérer l’expérience préalable. Peindre équivaut à ajouter, à cumuler, tout se mélange.
